IntroductionHere's a sample unit in which middle/high school students research and present position papers on both the affirmative and negative side of a controversial issue, supporting their arguments with properly cited primary and secondary sources. As you go through this example, please concentrate on the process of developing the lesson, rather than the content of the lesson.
